October 2009 (the first of the month)

Five years! It's been five years since we were on Lake Powell! We love this lake and practically raised our kids here! This made us feel like we were really back in Utah to stay. It was beautiful here and hardly anyone was on the lake. Of course by the middle of October it is getting a little chilly! We didn't care....we just had a great time and enjoyed this incredble place.

John and Bonnie are our Lake Powell buddies and here we are together again. It almost felt as though no time had passed since the last time we were here. In retrospect, a lot of time has passed and we have changed from all of our experiences. Being here, in a familiar and loved place was comforting and brought back a lot of good memories!

Another birthday! Brandon's kids came to visit for a week and we celebrated Raistlin's birthday together.

The Ashby yard is a lot of fun for the kids.
Aurora and Gracie hug Grandma Sturdy's "little girl". Gracie thought it was a cement copy of Grandma when she was a little girl and she couldn't quit hugging her and telling her she loved her.
